In August of 1985 Phil and Connie Mag founded Ambience Furs, in Prairie Village, Kansas.  Their theory was to provide their customers with the finest quality furs available at the lowest prices possible.  This has made them the areas only upper line furrier.  The pelts are purchased from all over the world, and manufactured in the United States or Canada. 
     In December 1998 they purchased a building and opened their new location in April 1999 in Westwood, Kansas a suburb of Kansas City, just 5 minutes from the historic Country Club Plaza.
